About Jen

Born and raised in Worcester. I have always wanted to be a fashion designer. My mother used to make a lot of my clothing for me growing up as did her mother for her. I used to design clothing for myself and ask my mother to make it for me. Growing up I would take apart my own clothing and redesign it. As I got older I wanted to stay close to home and decided to take Fashion Merchandising Classes here in Worcester. I graduated with an Associates Degree and soon after headed off to Boston to take Fashion Design classes. I graduated with a Degree in Fashion Design in 2002. After looking for a design job I realized I wanted to do my own thing. All those years of people complimenting on all the different things I’ve made for myself and my family, I decided to try to sell on my own. I have been doing so since. I started selling my items at the Garment District in Cambridge and Unique Boutik in Worcester. I continue to get great feedback and have even been so lucky to see people walking around wearing my items. Those days are the ones that keep me keep pushing forward trying to get my name out there. I continue to look for new stores to sell my items in and show at art fairs in the city. I have sold at the “start on the street” art fairs for the past four years. Some people don’t like my crazy ideas, some do. I continue to learn and I thank you for all being on this journey with me.
